Alumni Game:
Every year we have an Alumni game, this year is no different. I think each year our current High School team has won. Coaches are allowed to play for our current HS team, unless they are Alumni. Fall season players are welcome too. There will be some T-shirt giveaways.

Fundraising Opportunity:
Zeppe's Italian Market at 87th & Modaff in Naperville, has offered to have fundraising days in his store. Our team will receive 10% from the total purchases from anyone going in and mentions our organizations name, WVRFC. He has a sheet set up for us and will continue to add purchased totals as they come in until the end of May. This is a great local Italian store that offers home made sausages, sauces, pestos, cheeses, olives, deli items & has great prices on imported food. HS Jr/Sr Rugby College Recruitment Opportunity:
On Saturday May 19th, 2012 Rugby Recruiting will be hosting a high school college recruitment and combine program. There is free admission for ALL players. All you have to do if you are a PLAYER is go on www.rugbyrecruiting.com to pre-register and make a personal profile. Schools will have direct access to applications personal profiles. You may be provided the opportunity to talk directly with college/university coaches.

St. Louis Ruggerfest:
St. Louis Ruggerfest is coming up the weekend of April 13-15 (leave Friday afternoon, return Sunday late afternoon). The cost is $100 per person and includes tournament entry fee and two nights stay in hotel (meals not included). The permission form is due Monday April 2. Click here for more details.
Chaperones and drivers are needed. We are in the process of making Hotel Reservations. Please let coach Bryce (kiwinz8@yahoo.com, Ph 630-854-1050) know by this Friday, March 30, if you and/or your son are planning to attend.
Training:
REMINDER! Final installment of Club fees ($100) ($200 total) is due March 6, 2012
Outdoor training starts @ Wolf Crossing March 26th (players should wear rugby boots/soccer boots/football boots, rugby shorts, rugby jersey, mouthguards, and bring water):
- Monday-Thursdays 4-6pm @ Crossroad Fields (Wolfs Crossing and Eola Rd, Aurora)
- New players are welcome all season, dues will be reduced and scholarships are available.
Mouthguards:
Please make sure your son has a mouth guard at ALL trainings. The best mouth guard to get is a custom one; we have a team sponsor that will offer them for only $25. It will take around 48 hours for Dr. Rickard from Meadow Lake Dental Care to complete the job. Please refer to our Sponsors page for contact information.
Games:
Our games will be held at Crossroads Field at the northwest corner of South Eola Road and Wolf's Crossing Road in Aurora (south of Waubonsie Valley High School).
Freshman/Sophomore games will generally be on Tuesdays around 5pm.
Varsity games will generally be scheduled on Thursdays from mid-March through the end of May (depending upon how far the team goes in state playoffs).
